    Help Me Decide

Not gambling related. Since we are unable to travel any longer and my trips to the casino are few and only for a few hours at a time, I'm spending a ton of time crafting, not to mention money on supplies and equipment. My latest obsession is 3D printing, I have a good basic machine that has been great to learn on, but I would like to get a bigger machine with multi-color printing capabilities. It just so happens that Bambu Labs has a sale going on and the PS1 machine that I want is included in the sale. I don't need another machine, but I want this machine. I made a list of pros and cons. This is a hobby for me, while I have sold a few pieces, it brings me joy to make and giveaway the smaller items. I'm so torn on whether or not to spend the money it's close to $1,000, crazy I know since when I go to the casino that same amount is gone in the blink of an eye at times.

So give me your opinions, please. pro-con.JPG

I say go for it! Crafting brings you joy. We all need to do things that bring us joy. Life is short. Enjoy! (And your casino comparison is spot on. You’d drop that amount in a casino for fun.)

Do it. Think about the amount you would spend on flights to Vegas and other destinations. You worked hard your entire life, so you deserve it to have something to bring you joy.

Yes, go for it. Don't keep second-guessing or trying to talk yourself out of it. It's not an impulse buy that will just sit there not being used (exercise bikes, anyone?) -- it's basically an upgrade of something you already use and love. Yes, Yes, Yes!

You already know what I'm going to say lol but I'll say it anyway. I agree with all the Jokers who've posted before me. Any kind of joy that can be found when facing adversity in our lives has to be snatched and held close. I know how much crafting means to you and this new printer may just save your sanity which is priceless!

    YOLO
