Stay away from that local for a long time, worst thing to do is go back to chase losses. Been there, done that!

Yes, those free gifts get mighty expensive! Sorry to hear about the no go. As much as I don't want to go on tilt, I know I will. I blame mine on the drinking but if I didn't drink, I probably would anyways.

Those free gifts have gotten me too many times.

Thanks, Elf. I had been staying away since my local sucks and it always seems that when I go bored after being away for awhile, I go on tilt.

ouch- I did the same thing yesterday too- went to the new casino in my area, for a stupid free wallet that I'll never use. Couldn't win more than $60 either, was just sucking me dry no matter what I did. I said "one more machine, if I win I stay if I lose I'm out" Sure enough I lost and even though I drove out of my way, went to another casino I should have went to in the first place on the other side of town. I was able to win some of that loss back too. I realized if I'm just not winning i have to go, but have learned that the hard way too.

I wish I had more than one option.

A $60 win is better than nothing, but seeing the $$$$ just get sucked in and never getting ahead from the first bet is a teachable moment, if my the cautious side of my brain could get through to my gambling side. HHH

So sorry to hear this Darlene. I've been there and done that. My friend and I went last week very early in the morning and left shortly after noon because of the same thing. No hits and bonus after bonus of $4.00 only. Very sad....I was going to PM you but my phone wouldn't turn on that morning and I left it at home. Contacted ATT and it was still under warranty and they are sending me another one.

I wondered if you made it, I was in mandatory management meetings all last week and wouldn't have been able to make it, so it we'll have to try again once the sting of this past visit fades.

I think I need to pay closer attention to when the female jokers are planning getaways and invite myself along, HHH. If I have a trip planned its easier to avoid that tight ass casino.

I can't tell you how many times I've said the same thing to myself leaving the Tampa Hard Rock with my tail between my legs, knowing that I could have covered airfare, hotel and Bankroll for a 3 day trip to Biloxi, Vegas, Reno, AC for what I'd lost in 6 hours of playing. Slots are brutal, absolutely brutal at the THR.
