Almost forgot, the slot selection was fantastic!
Thanks my handsome friend! Beau Rivage it is!

Imperial Palace is where another friend likes to stay and play.
Our other trip was also a quick stop on a road trip and although we stayed at the Beau, I felt that I didn't see or do anything. Thank you for your comments! I have nixed the Harrah's plan, and I feel better. Who needs a small tight casino when the beautiful Beau is right up the street?

You will love the Beau! If you want to experience southern charm with a seafood menu, then eat at Mary Mahoneys. There is a bar called Adventures just a couple blocks away that has the best bloody marys! Also drive over the bridge to Oceans Springs. It's a quaint little artsy town with some good restaurants. Drive down Hwy 90 towards Gulfport and check out the sculptures that have been carved out of trees lost during Katrina.

Yay - @Nhcris - I hope you have a great trip. We were there at the end of November.. and walked the beaches, had a day at the pool, and went to a concert as well as tons of slotting. I will be excited to follow along.

Darn, I will be on my cruise that weekend so I won't be able to meet you in Biloxi. Have fun. You will love the Beau.

I live in Pensacola and work on the Naval Air Station so have been to the museum many times. You can actually spend the entire day there if you want to see everything. They have guided tours throughout the day plus a tour of the flight line behind the museum. They also have an IMAX theater but I think it's closing sometime in Jan for renovations. You can also visit the lighthouse across from the museum. It's not free but it's pretty cool. And there's also Fort Barrancas which is about half a mile east of the museum which is free to tour as well. They also offer guided tours. As far as Biloxi goes the Beau is nice but also the most crowded. I like the Golden Nugget and if your not smokers the Palace Casino (not the IP) is completely smoke free. If your into table games almost all of Treasure Bay's table limits start at $2. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Stay away from those DAMN BABIES at the Beau, they took my last dollar on the way to Coushatta in November. I found the Beau to be tight so watch your BR closely. Since your going to have a car drive around, I love walking the beach and also seeing the trees in the median that Katrina damaged and local artists carved into sculptures. Since your going to be in Orlando, any plans to visit Tampa Hard Rock? If so let me know and I'll break my ban and meet you there

Mary Mahoney's is an institution specializing in local Gulf Coast seafood. The seafood dishes shine but the sides are average (IMO).
I would go again just because I love the seafood and the quaintness of the building.

I can't comment on the rest of Biloxi as we didn't venture far from the BR. I did get my only video slot hand pay there on WOZ!

I love Mary Mahoneys. It is across the street from the Hard Rock.
