That was my reasoning for this past losing trip at Coushatta. Guess the 5000.00 loss will help offset the wins this year… Polyanna and silver linings..

I went back this weekend to mainly get back out on the slopes and take advantage of $165 Macy's gift card and a combined $350 fp. I had a hunch the host might honor some expired fp vouchers since I have not taken many comps on my last few trips and what a great surprise he honored an additional $650fp from the previous couple of weeks!!

The fp lasted me most of the evening!

Had a yummy dinner at Sage Room





After dinner I was lucky to hit a handpay on triple draw frenzy (still on the freeplay/cash from fp)




Played some blackjack. Lost a bit and then had a great comeback!! Decided to put $500 in $100 WOF before bed and had a spin!!



Then, it got crazy. On a complete whim I decided to put $1500 in the $25 vp and try triple double bonus.

Very quickly hit this:



Took a check!!

Not 3 or 4 hands later while they were preparing that 10k check hit this dream hand:



If that 6 would have been a 2, 3 or 4 it would have been 100k! I was happy with the 20k and took another check! They presented both at the same time

Went to bed at 6am or so, up $32k

Sat:

There was a big blackjack tourney going on (I wasn't invited :/)

Played a bit more. Broke even on the day and cycled a bit more coin in: had 3 more wheel spins each time $500 in (none larger than $3500), a VP hit, yummy dinner with my ski buddy comped at Friday station..

And, they let me shop for $1200 in ski store gear charged to the room/comped!!!

The hospitality hosts are so nice and helpful!!

Another fantastic trip, Jason! Congrats on those fabulous wins, the added free play, the time on the slopes, and bonus shopping! The food looked incredible. I have never seen potatoes served looking like a flower before. Beautiful presentation! And there is that great smile of yours while on the slopes. I could tell you were at your happy place.
