Thread: Disney Magic Photo's

    PHOTO DESCRIPTIONS
I'm certainly no photographer and some of the pics aren't very clear as they were done on my iphone and it's a bit awkward to hold the phone "steady".
I randomly took pictures of things that caught my eye.

In typical Disney fashion, the DISNEY MAGIC shows attention to detail, from the "Hidden Mickey's", and film theater to the plexi-glass covering the railings.
I thought the housekeeping carts were cute - made to look like old steamer trunks with the "French Line" luggage labels, which made me smile.

My three-year-old grandson loved the water slide and fortunately he was over the 38" requirement. He and I went on that thing multiple times and I would go after him, to
give him a "push" to get him going. The other Grandma would wait below to catch him.

The "Library" on board - seems to be the small bookcase in the Cove Cafe (coffee place in the adult area).

We are not the "Snyder" family LOL - "Decorating" the stateroom doors seems to be the norm. It made it easier to find our door as it was one of the few that wasn't glammed up!

The menus offered more choices than what you usually see on other mainstream cruise lines today. The lunch buffet had a heap of crab claws (cut my finger on one!) along with large peel and eat shrimp every day.

How I ended up on the DISNEY MAGIC:
The other Grandparents ("Pops" and "Lita" to Grandson) booked this trip for themselves, their son, my daughter and Grandson. "Pops" couldn't make it as he's working on a law case. Lita asked me to
take his place. We had a standard inside stateroom and the "kids" had an ocean view stateroom.

For the record, I LOVE Disneyland and Disney World. Our family has visited both many times over the years. I also LOVE cruises.

We had never sailed on a Disney Cruise. Why? The first Disney Cruises were three and four night cruises out of Port Canaveral, packaged up with a Disney World stay.
One could just do the short cruise itself but most did the package to make it a weeks vacation. I don't particularly like short cruises and didn't like the idea of packing up everything and
moving to the next part of the "package" (though you could add hotel/park days). We preferred two nights at Universal and five or six nights at Disney World. I also thought there would
be no escaping the little ones on a cruise ship (I was pretty right on about that!).

Nice cruise pic's Maurentania. Loved the cat pictures as well. We have never done a Disney cruise before. It looks amazing. How was the entertainment, activities, and dining as compared to other major cruise lines?

I can't wait to look these over later when I have time! My friend who is a huge Disney fan is going on her first Disney cruise in January. @ Mauritania I'm sure she may have tons of questions, hope you won't mind me asking for her after I show her your pics.
