Maybe I'm wrong but I thought part of the issue with the old SMF forum is that we had technical issues and the site was down a lot. Then the new forum was started. Many of the people on this forum are former SMF members and a lot of the "original" people I got to know from that site. I feel like this forum was created because some of the people here were banned from SF and therefore started their own place that they could still share their stories since the old home is not available to them. I'm here because the people are "home" to me. Now I will admit that I know there was some tension and I don't have the history on the who, what, why happened. I just wanted to come to hang out with my familiar friends. Again I have no ill will towards anyone and I hope it doesn't turn into a big mess. I'm sure there are people that have legitimate reasons to be upset but I hope coming here is just about moving on and moving forward.
