A lot of people don't rent or drive their cars to Vegas so won't care about the parking fee that M-Life properties is going to start. As far as I have read so far it's not clear if it's $10 a day and you can switch from property to property or if it's $10 a day at each property which really would be a pain. While Cosmo has said they aren't going the way of the Parking fee I think we'll see them change that policy once the new Arena opens in April and they see people going to those concerts trying to park at Cosmo for free and filling up all Cosmo's parking spaces instead of paying for parking at the Arena which I suspect is one reason MGM decided to charge for parking at their properties. There's been a lot of speculation that CET Properties will follow and also charge for parking in the future too.
Thank you. I will have to jump on it faster next time and see what happens. I just feel odd calling and that was not a very good experience for me. The agent that I spoke too was not very nice and not very forthcoming with his answers. They may have had rooms at the Venitian but I guess I will never know since I had asked for Palazzo. We have been staying at the MGM but get a car and go in and out quite often. The parking thing really bugs me. Guests should not have to pay and parking fees could really stack up going in and out. I am not sure how they are going to structure the parking fees. I will have to wait and see. I am sure that others will follow suit just like they did with the resort fees which I also detest.

We seem to be staying off strip more and that is fine with me. I like the off strip places more. They are more laid back and I feel safer there. The strip is getting a little crazy. The last trip we walked through the cromwell and played a few machines and I really felt scared there. A guy jumped in front of us ine line at the cashier and we were afraid to say anything so we just let it happen. The cashier saw it and gave us the "look" but didn't say anything either. I feel that someone could just pull a gun on you for saying the wrong thing. The place was crawling with security but I still couldn't wait to leave there. Things are really getting strange on the strip, for me anyway.

So we are staying 2 nights at Ballys, one night at Golden Nugget Laughlin and 5 nights at the Orleans. I was gonna book the 2 nights at Palazzo and that would have been 4 moves so I am probably better off not staying there this trip. Maybe next time.
